We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient QC Department Inspector to become an integral part of our growing team! Roseville Precision Inc. was established in 1986. We are looking for positive employees who are looking for long-term employment.

The primary responsibility of this role is to input, update, and maintain accurate data in our systems. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of our data for smooth business operations. Must be easy to communicate with, quick to learn new jobs, need a good attitude, able to ask questions when necessary, and be dependable.

Position Summary:
The QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO standards, developing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS), and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. This role works cross-functionally to maintain certifications, support operations, and achieve company quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
ISO Compliance & Certification:
  • Maintain and manage company ISO certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
  • Plan, prepare, and coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with certification bodies and auditors.
Quality Management System (QMS):
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the QMS.
  • Ensure all documentation is current, controlled, and accessible.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and quality procedures.
Audits & Corrective Actions:
  • Conduct internal audits and identify non-conformances.
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Track and report progress to ensure timely closure.
Process Improvement:
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends.
  • Lead initiatives to improve product quality, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
Training & Culture:
  • Train employees on ISO standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Supplier Quality:
  • Evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
  • Conduct supplier audits and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Reporting & Documentation:
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of audits, corrective actions, and certifications.
Risk Management:
  • Identify quality and compliance risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Develop contingency plans to minimize operational impact.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in quality management with ISO focus.
  • Proven experience maintaining and improving ISO certifications.
Skills & Knowledge:
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QMS software.

Shifts:
  • Day Shift 6:00 AM to 2:40 PM. Monday thru Friday.

Data Input and Management:
  • Enter and update data in company databases, spreadsheets, and other platforms.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of information before entering.

Record Maintenance:
  • Maintain and update files, records, and documents as required.
  • Organize and store data in an easily accessible format.

Data Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct routine checks to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Cross-reference data to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Reporting and Analysis:
  • Generate reports and summaries from data as requested.
  • Support other departments with data-related tasks.
